The world of shipping and tariffs continues to be unpredictable. So to avoid any awkward surprises for our customers we will be covering the cost of duty and tariffs on web orders shipping from East End Press to the USA.
1. What’s happening with U.S import tariffs?
On the 29th of August 2025, the U.S removed a key rule (called the de-minimis threshold) for most shipments from the UK. Previously, orders under $800 could enter the U.S duty-free - but from that date, extra import tariffs apply, even on smaller purchases.
2. Will my order be affected?
No, we’ll cover any Import VAT and Duties on your behalf using DDP (delivered duty paid) labels. Our carriers will handle all necessary customs procedures, including payment of any taxes, fees, or other charges to the relevant customs authorities. The price at checkout is the final price you pay!
3. Are your prices going up?
No, our prices will remain the same for the rest of the year. It is our utmost priority to keep our products affordable and accessible for all!
4. Will you eventually ship from the U.S?
We hope to have U.S based stock and fulfilment in place by 2026. This means your future orders will ship domestically, eliminating import costs and reducing shipping times. However this system will take time to implement, and we want to ensure the next steps are achievable for all stages of both the supply and fulfilment chain, and so this change won’t be immediate. 5. Where do you currently ship from?
Currently, all of our orders are packed and processed from our fulfilment centre in the UK. While we're working on establishing U.S-based fulfilment, please note that orders will continue to be shipped from our UK location until those changes are fully in place.
