• The "Handmade" Clause: East End Press prides itself on traditional printing techniques. Many of our products are hand-printed or hand-painted. Minor inconsistencies in registration, ink density, or paper texture are not considered "defects" but are inherent characteristics of the craft.
• Material Sourcing: As we use recycled materials (such as cotton rag paper), the base colour and weight of the paper may vary slightly between batches.
• Sustainability: We use AZO-free, non-toxic inks and FSC-certified wood or recycled cotton pulp paper. Our packaging is plastic-free.
• Safety: Our products are General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) compliant.

• Order Placement: When you place an order, you will receive an "Order Confirmation" email. This is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance of your order.
• Order Acceptance: A binding contract is only formed when we dispatch your goods and send you a "Dispatch Confirmation" email. We reserve the right to decline any order (e.g., due to stock unavailability or pricing errors).

• Prices: Prices are shown in your local currency and include UK VAT where applicable.
• Price Adjustments: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
• International Orders: For orders outside the UK, EU, or US (under €150/specified thresholds), you are responsible for any local import duties or taxes.
• Payment: We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is taken at the time of order.
• Availability: Certain products may be available exclusively online or in our Glasgow storefront. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.
• Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and your card charged.

• Processing: We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days (Monday–Friday). "Dispatch" refers to when the item leaves our studio, not when it arrives.
• Liability: While we use reliable couriers, transit times are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Shipping Rates: Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on destination.
• Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on orders over certain thresholds (e.g., £25 for UK, $50 for US, €70 for EU).
• Global Shipping: We ship worldwide. However, East End Press is not responsible for delays caused by the destination country's customs clearing process.
• Import Taxes: Since Brexit, orders to the EU may be subject to local VAT and handling fees. By purchasing, the customer accepts responsibility for paying these charges. If a parcel is returned to us because the customer refused to pay customs, the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

• Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason.
• Returns Process: To return an item, please email info@eastendpress.com. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in sellable condition. Unless the item is faulty, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service.
• Faulty or Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 30 days. We will provide a prepaid shipping label and offer a full refund or replacement.
• Non-Returnable Items: Digital gift cards, "Sample Sale" products, and any items that have been used or modified (such as garlands that have been cut or used) are non-refundable.

• Wholesale Accounts: Retailers wishing to stock East End Press must apply for a wholesale account. Wholesale terms (MOQs and lead times) differ from these retail terms.

 

• Mailing List Discount: The 20% sign up code is for first time customers only and cannot be combined with other offers.
• Gift Cards: Digital gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (UK only). They can only be redeemed online at www.eastendpress.com and cannot be exchanged for cash or used in store.

• The "East End Press" brand, logo, and all original designs (including our garland designs and cards) are protected by UK copyright laws. 
• Commercial Use: All content on this website, including designs, illustrations, and photography, is the property of East End Press Limited. Unauthorised use of our designs is strictly prohibited. You may not use our products for any unauthorised commercial purpose (e.g., reselling our products) without an explicit licensing agreement.
• Social Media: We love it when you share photos of our products! Please credit @eastendpress when doing so.

2. To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
3. To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.
4. To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code.

 

• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses related to your use of the site or products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods.

• East End Press shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure, natural disasters, or postal strikes/disruptions.

 

• Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy. We use your data strictly for order fulfilment and, if opted-in, our newsletter. We never sell your data to third parties.

 

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
